This transfer is a great interactive piece which works through function to create a great moment of frisson for the viewer as they enter the building.

Neville Brody exhibition poster

This clever manipulation of type is another Brody classic eyedeer for his recent exhibition.

Jermeyville- Don't Panic

We had this crazy Don't Panic! Poster on the wall at our house in Uni and I've just found a whole collection of characters at: http://www.designlabco.com/newwork/newwork.html

Fallon and the new BBC Blast site!!

Insane Interactivity!! I love the way the site contains a narrative through recording the wall over time. Controlling things remotely creates endless possiblities!!

All Bran- Leo Burnett Mexico, Mexico City

I remember trying to come up with a fun eyedeer for the Warburtons fibre website while at Swamp and how difficult it proved coming up with something original. This is a corker lol

Creating characters

Anthropomorphism...good word lol and always works well when struggling for an angle...

Spaghetti Junction

This has given me a great reference for another traffic eyedeer

Do you like my owl?

I received this spoof via email and having just watched Blade Runner at last it was perect comedy timing...which reminds me I forgot that I was recently talking to someone about the relationship between comedy and design and it is something to dig into...

Dance school advert

This looks a bit photoshoped but still I think the eyedeer has a lot of potential. I seem to be looking at a lot of ambient pieces at the moment... I've got to get around to designing some soon.

What Goes around, comes around

I've just been sent a link to these brilliant ambient wraps. They push the medium of the poster that little bit further and question how other forms and surfaces could be used?

The idea of organic rooms? Crazy set design... what else could they be grown on??

Make My Logo Bigger!!!

Whilst dealing with the usual annoying client gripes at work I received this link from a friend. It's a brilliant spoof of what designers are up against on an almost daily basis!! lolol

Social awareness pieces

I've got a couple ideas for some recycling posters that I want to produce so I've been looking at some cause related pieces. These adverts by Felix Hornung for a homeless charity depicting animals without their shells show that nature is often a great source of inspiration. The campaign was apparently a storming success and the magazine similar to the Big Issue increased it sales massively overnight.

This is simply a fantastic use of typography to depict on going problems in Tibet..
Below are warzone images by McCann Erickson using human wounds as their canvas. The stitches are a harrowing comparison to trench lines.

Couple of Saatchi classics

I love the work of Saatchi & Saatchi in general but some of their charity and social awareness pieces show how sometimes all you need is good photography and the right copy.

Comparing the product to a hippo...I never thought that would work

Purell advert

I don't tend to like advertising that uses shock tactics as much as witty ideas but the execution of this advert is brilliant. The bold photography and small corporate element forces the viewer to search for the idea themself.
Saatchi & Saatchi's advert for a new hotel opening at an airport. Perfect link between the plane wing and diving board.

Nova Pulicidade Pregancy advert
I saw this work for Amnesty International at the D&AD exhibition in Urbis Manchester. It's a great example of how thinking about the medium itself can produce fantastic results. Other work there that caught my eye was the Penguin book jackets based on soundwaves and a collection of marmite ads using the product to create illustrations.
